Welcome to the Queenscliff Cricket Club Website

The Queenscliff Cricket Club was established in 1858 and is affiliated with both the Bellarine Pensinsula Cricket Association, for our senior sides, and the Geelong Junior Cricket Association.
On the Field
In Season 2011/12 the club is looking forward to the challenges of winning a 50th Premiership title. Last season saw the club take out our 48th and 49th Premierships thanks to our strong Under 13s sides (where both teams played off for the title) and our D Grade side. Unfortunately, our other senior sides never got any momentum going, although at times there were some outstanding performances, but in the end, consistency cost us.
Historical Stats
This site incorporates our historical stats that are now update weekly. The prime idea behind the new site was to combine current and historical club information. The site provides a comprehensive resource of match results and player statistics dating back to when the club was first established in 1858.

Club Song
The QCC song "From the Boundary Lines" is sung to the music from the Gendarmes' Duet from the opera Geneviève de Brabant by Jacques Offenbach, which debuted in Paris in 1859. It is more commonly known as the US Marine Corps Hymn. Many clubs around Australia use this tune for their club's song, including the Adelaide Crows.
FROM THE BOUNDARY LINES
From the boundary lines of Queenscliff To the other grounds away We will fight our team's battles And never give away Admiration for the greatest team It's the finest ever seen And we glory in the title Of the mighty QUEENSCLIFF Cricket Team. |
